Rights Respecting School
The Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) recognizes schools that prioritise the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in their planning, policies, practice, and ethos. A rights-respecting school not only teaches about children's rights but also models rights and respect in all its relationships, including between pupils and adults, between adults, and among pupils. Holywell has been working towards the RRSA for the past seven years and achieved level 2 in June 2015. Subsequently, in August 2018, Holywell received the GOLD Award for their efforts.
