UNICEF Rights Respecting School
The Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) recognises schools that prioritise the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in their planning, policies, practice, and ethos. A rights-respecting school not only teaches about children's rights but also models rights and respect in all its relationships, including between pupils and adults, between adults, and among pupils. Holywell has been working towards the RRSA since 2011. We achieved level 2 in June 2015, and in August 2018, Holywell received the GOLD Award for its efforts. We have continued to hold the Gold standard when we were reassessed in 2025.
